Starkweather & Shepley Hires Matthew Paris as Senior Vice President, Health Care Practice Leader

WESTWOOD, MA — May 31, 2018 Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. (S&S) hired Matthew Paris as Senior Vice President, Health Care Practice Leader in the Property and Casualty Group. Matthew focuses on risk management and insurance. He will manage and service key healthcare accounts for all of Starkweather & Shepley offices. He will be based out of the S&S Westwood, MA office, Starkweather’s fast growing office, including financial institutions, construction, healthcare and real estate.

Prior to joining Starkweather & Shepley, Matthew was a Senior Vice President at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. where he was a member of its New England healthcare practice. He has extensive background across the P&C market, working throughout the U.S. marketplace as well as internationally in London, Bermuda and continental European markets. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He is also a member of several professional organizations including the Northern New England Society for Healthcare Risk Managers.
